We are both fully licensed and insured to perform home inspections in Alberta. We are members of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI), adhering to their Standards of Practice. We use the latest technology and equipment to ensure that every aspect of a home is thoroughly examined so that you can make an informed decision about your potential purchase.

Meet our Team

Mitch

Meet Mitch Waldon, the perfect candidate for all your home inspection needs as a Certified Canadian Home Inspector (CCHI) with a license from the Province of Alberta (License #337619). With over a decade of experience as a construction and renovation master, he’s seen the triumphs and the tragedies of building systems and construction. Mitch is also a journeyman-trained landscaper, showcasing his artistic touch with greenery, and a journeyman welder, displaying his prowess as a metal-melding pro.

Beyond his professional expertise, Mitch leads a vibrant life filled with diverse hobbies. An avid singer, he actively participates in choirs and barbershop quartets, harmonizing his love for music with his busy schedule. Mitch also finds joy in the craftsmanship of brewing beer and the artistry of blacksmithing. You might catch him kayaking or engaging in almost any other outdoor activity on weekends, showcasing his passion for adventure and the great outdoors.

Mitch Waldon’s blend of construction mastery and a rich tapestry of hobbies makes him a reliable home inspector and a person of varied interests, adding a unique and dynamic touch to every facet of his life.

David

Meet David Bates, a Master Electrician and a seasoned expert in the building trades, serving as a licensed Home Inspector in the Province of Alberta (License #35111). Beyond his meticulous eye for detail and commitment to quality control, David leads a dynamic life where his passion for family, animals, and technology comes to the forefront.

Residing on an acreage keeps David constantly engaged in various tasks, as there’s always something to fix or improve. Alongside his dedicated work, David is a family man with five kids, his dog, Koopa, and two cats, creating a lively and bustling home environment. He has raised chickens and harbours aspirations to start raising sheep, showcasing his love for sustainable and hands-on living.

In addition to his affinity for the outdoors, David, being a Master Electrician, has a keen interest in all things tech, demonstrating a balance between traditional craftsmanship and modern innovation. His personal motto, “There’s always a better way,” encapsulates his mindset—always seeking improvements and advancements in both his professional and personal life.

Christian

Meet Christian Starr-Horse, a seasoned professional specializing in insulation and home improvement. With a successful history running a handyman company, Christian combines hands-on experience with a friendly demeanour. As a Certified Professional Inspector (CPI) and licensed Home Inspector in Alberta (License #355920), Christian ensures your home is cozy and structurally sound. His attention to detail and commitment to quality make him a trusted expert for all your home inspection needs.

Outside of work, Christian finds fulfillment in various hobbies and activities. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys hunting and fishing, finding solace in nature. Christian embraces an active lifestyle, whether hitting the ice for a game of hockey or exploring the trails with his partner, who shares his zest for life and adventure. His dog, Coyote, enriches every moment with his unwavering loyalty.

Kacy

Meet Kacy Rice, a skilled construction professional and red-seal journeyman carpenter trained in construction engineering technology. Currently training for her Alberta home inspection license, Kacy brings hands-on expertise in structural integrity and building systems. Though not yet a licensed home inspector, her commitment to excellence, ongoing training, and construction know-how ensure thorough and reliable assessments for homeowners.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Kacy finds joy in her role as a parent to four boys. Outside the construction world, she embraces the thrill of the great outdoors as a sponsored snowmobiler, showcasing her adventurous spirit. When not navigating the snow-covered terrain, Kacy can be found cruising on her Indian motorcycle, adding a dash of freedom and excitement to her vibrant life.

Sara

Meet Sara Eaton, the backbone of our operations and the friendly voice behind the phone. As our dedicated office manager, Sara excels in answering calls and seamlessly scheduling appointments to keep everything running smoothly. Sara’s commitment creates a harmonious and efficient workplace. With a warm smile and an expert touch, Sara Eaton plays a vital role in ensuring our team and customer experience flourishes.
